Welcome to CS 767: Methods in Medical Image Analysis -- Spring 2013

This course will introduce us to medical image analysis algorithms. We will cover topics such as registration, segmentation, classification and clustering with a focus on medical image data. By the end of this course, we will gain a good understanding of the current problems in medical image analysis, the techniques employed to address such problems as well as outstanding research issues.


Prerequisite(s):

  • Data structures and Algorithms
  • basic proficiency in C++/JAVA programming and/or Matlab
  • basic proficiency in probability, calculus, and linear algebra
